The company has become increasingly international in recent years, further diversified, and broadened its footprint. However, the base of the internationally active Evertz Group remains Solingen.

Yesterday evening, we jointly presented during the Poster Session event our combined work with 𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛 on:

“AI-based surface inspection and 3D profiling for quality insurance in steel product grinding” – a great example of how collaboration and technology are driving progress in steel product surface conditioning.

Evertz Europe is proud to be collaborating with Sapotech on InToSteel, a joint industrial R&D project under the SMART Eureka Cluster program.

Egon Evertz KG is a traditional company from Solingen that specializes in steel surface processing. In the following interview, Ms. Evertz provides exciting insights into the history of the family-run company and talks about its vision for the future.

Since the end of January 2025, the Evertz Group central administration has been working in the new building at the Prinzenstrasse site, where production halls and our central warehouse are also located.

Solingen - The topping-out ceremony for the new administration building on Prinzenstrasse was held under the motto "Together into the future". The employees are due to move from the city centre to Ohligs at the beginning of next year.
